Happy New Year!

There's so much happened in our last 11 months and 30 days. We've totally moved to a whole new level, which is 2014! Last year has left us so much hopes, setbacks, and candor. We've been given a rare opportunity to continue our life, to improve, and also to "start" a new life (there's actually a lot of new year's purposes for each of us). But, that makes new year to become more interesting and mysterious.

Also, having a new year seems to be weird for some people, a lot of people. They think like new year is "the-odds-coming-for-us" new year. They sometimes express, "God, it feels weird that we finally made it for new year." But, isn't that the same expression happens when you got older on your birthdays, new job, new life in marriage, and finally graduate from high schools. So basically, new years means yourself getting older physically and psychically. Actually, new years try to warn us that we need to buckle down and get a lot more serious because you're getting older. So, get ready for a fight for your life (not that serious, I suppose).

Our last year, 2013, has been awesome, crazy, nuts, hilarious, sad, super sad, and more expressions. We've heard a lot of crazy, historical, breathtaking, wonderful news in 2013. Either in politics, economics, popular culture, family, friends, and love life. Those all are the factors which made last year became so fun. So why the heck couldn't we do a lot better, crazier, more breathtaking, and other more to spice up the new year, 2014!

Overall, I don't want to extend this post into a boring some kind of poetry or being a mentor. But I do want the best for all people on earth in 2014. So, let's welcome our next 11 months and 30 days with high spirit and more spirit. Let's get the party started!!

Happy new year! Feliz año nuevo! Gelukkige nuwe jaar! Bonne année! Frohes neues Jahr! An nou fericit! С новым годом! 新年快乐!

Rose McGowan moves intuitively around her LA home in this tender portrait by Marlene Marino, shot earlier this year when the photographer captured the American actress for the latest issue of lifestyle title Apartamento. The Brian De Palma and Quentin Tarantino favorite made her name in tongue-in-cheek slasher Scream and supernatural series Charmed, and established her cult status in director Gregg Araki's 1995 comedy thriller The Doom Generation, which saw the pin-up entangled in a sordid ménage à trois. Yet shooting today’s short was a strict case of ‘Two’s company.’ Having met through director Ridley Scott’s Black Dog Films—set to release McGowan’s directorial debut Dawn—the actress and Marino bonded over a shared attitude towards beauty. “Marlene and I were just celebrating femininity,” she says of the visceral short that is soundtracked by Italian composer Ludovico Einaudi, who previously scored Shane Meadows’ This Is England. “I think people can rise higher than the consensus of what is considered sexy; our only objective was to do something natural. I didn’t act, I just flowed into it.”

What was it like to see yourself in this completely uninhibited state?
Rose McGowan: It was really transformative: it actually made me cry. It was born out of reclaiming my own ideas of what beauty is. I have realized that I don’t have to be bound by the “rules” here in Los Angeles or Hollywood. It is me, but not an artificial version.

What’s next for you?
RM: I’m going to direct my first feature film, taking things I borrowed from Marlene. I’m also making a show about art and pornography. It will be custom-made porn but not in the kind of way that you’ve seen or that you think of it.

Is that in production?
RM: I just shot the teaser for it and in it I’m wearing a strap-on. It’s pretty balls-out, I’m not gonna lie—it’s going to look insane.

What’s your experience of pornography?
RM: I have never liked it and don’t find it sexually interesting: I don’t like their hair,  makeup, or acting. How am I supposed to get excited by something that I think is cornball and not beautiful?

So what would you consider to be sexy?
RM: Oh I don’t know, maybe two people in a lovely field on a farm, shot like Terence Malick.

Queen Latifah and Rose McGowan

The actress is keeping her dad's legacy alive and making a contribution to the world in his name.

Rose McGowan's life was changed the day her father was diagnosed with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis at the age of 61. The illness is caused by the buildup of tissue on the lungs, which gives it the appearance of being scarred.

After dealing with the tough loss of the death of her father, Rose became a spokesperson for the Coalition for Pulmonary Fibrosis and is determined to turn her loss into hope for all those diagnosed with PF in the future. "None of us can effect change on our own, but as a united group we can use our numbers to build national awareness of this terrible disease, demand attention to it and help fund the day-to-day work needed to help all those affected. We need a very large team of people coming together to generate a more active national campaign against PF."

Now that NBC has their grubby little paws on CBS' Murder, She Wrote, the Eye is getting into the reboot game as well with plans to revive Charmed.

Just a day after the Murder, She Wrote revival was revealed, Vulture reports on Friday (Oct. 25) that TV's No. 1 network is in the early stages of a remake of Aaron Spelling's witchy WB drama. Party of Five co-creator Chris Keyser and partner Sydney Sidner are co-writing the project.

Insiders are describing the planned project as a "re-imagining" of the original series starring Shannen Doherty, Alyssa Milano, Holly Marie Combs and Rose McGowan as a sisterhood of witches who uses their powers for good. CBS TV Studios, which owns the rights to the entirety of the Spelling library, will produce alongside the Tannenbaum Company. The network has simply ordered a script for a pilot, however; no commitment to filming anything has been made.

Charmed was one of the now-extinct WB Network's longest-running and most successful series, lasting eight seasons and 178 episodes. Though it went off the air in 2006, the show still repeats on TNT and WE and was found to be the second most binged show in 2012 on subscription video-on-demand services (Netflix, Hulu Plus, Amazon Prime) by the NPD Group, pointing to a still-fervent fan base that makes a reboot seem sensible, business-wise.

For what it's worth, McGowan doesn't seem to be too thrilled by the prospective reboot. Shortly after news broke, she tweeted, "They really are running out of ideas in Hollywood," followed up by, "lame lame lame lamertons."

Do you think Charmed is worthy of a reboot? Or should CBS leave well enough alone?

Though Rose McGowan is known for her flashy style on the red carpet, the actress wowed in a very traditional white wedding gown when she tied the knot on Saturday in a romantic and ethereal ceremony.

The actress, 40, and artist Davey Detail were married on the lawn of the Paramour Mansion Saturday, her rep confirmed to PEOPLE exclusively. The ceremony was performed by a rabbi outdoors under a chuppah of McGowan's design in front of 60 guests.

McGowan's strapless A-line silk Monique Lhuillier creation featured a corset and Chantilly lace draped with a fine tulle overlay, and the waistline of the dress was accented with a knot detail cascading into the skirt.

She finished her bridal look with a raw edge chapel-length tulle veil and Jimmy Choo shoes and walked down the aisle solo to "The Song to the Siren" by This Mortal Coil.

After the ceremony, guests flowed into the intimate garden of the Paramour Mansion for the dinner reception, where DJ Madison Stewart spun tunes.

Inside the bash – planned by Amber Gustafson – miniature custom terrariums with name tags served as both seating assignments and party favors, and a dinner buffet included Southern comfort food staples such as fried chicken and waffles, ribeye steak and cajun creamed corn.

The table florals dripped with maiden hair fern and amaranthus in vintage brass vases and guests were seated on mismatched dark wood tables and chairs.

A custom cake by Fantasy Frosting that was a replicate of McGowan's parents' wedding cake added a sweet touch. One final surprise at the very end of the night? A bouncy house!

Break out the champagne! Rose McGowan and Davey Detail tied the knot during an intimate outdoor ceremony at the Paramour Mansion in Silverlake on Saturday, Oct. 12, her rep confirms to Us Weekly.

McGowan, 40, wore a strapless white dress by Monique Lhuillier and a veil for her special day, with her hair up in a bun. She also carried a bouquet of pink flowers down the aisle. The couple's vows lasted 15 minutes. A New Orleans swing band then played as guests were escorted to a cocktail area with stunning white lights surrounding a courtyard. They were married by a rabbi outdoors under a chuppah.

The pair exchanged vows in a "romantic and ethereal" ceremony as 60 guests looked on, a source tells PEOPLE.

The Tell-Tale Heart star and Detail first announced their engagement in July after more than a year of dating, with the actress previously telling Us that she thought her artist beau was "magic."

"He's made me a better woman. And I've made him a better man!" she shared with Us at the premiere of Mademoiselle C in NYC on Sept. 6.

The actress was previously twice-engaged -- to Machete Kills director Robert Rodriguez in 2007 and before that, to rocker Marilyn Manson in 1998 -- but this is her first marriage.

Next up? The happy newlyweds are heading to Tahiti for their honeymoon, according to McGowan. "I've never been," she previously told Us. "I've always dreamed of having one of those little huts over the water."

This month marks 15 years since Charmed premiered on what was then The WB. And although it certainly wasn’t the first television show about witches, it was one of the most successful, capturing a fan base that to this day watches re-runs at every opportunity — or is that just me?

Charmed told the story of the Halliwell sisters and their power of three. Basically, when the three of them combined their witchy mojo, they were pretty much unstoppable. With the Book of Shadows in their attic, full of spells and potions, the sisters were able to fight off all kinds of demons. And when they weren’t being attacked (which was rare), they were able to fall in love — sometimes with the wrong people — and have real-life sibling arguments.

Despite swapping the third sister after Prue died, the show succeeded in creating a real family dynamic. The sisters always had chemistry, and you couldn’t help but root for them to stick together and bicker about boys while simultaneously kicking butt. Plus, you knew you were amongst cool witches when they used their free time to open a nightclub.

However, even with the magic element, the show also had a subtlety to it. Sure, it was a fantastical show about witches and demons, etc., but there was a real sense that this wasn’t the life the girls wanted, but rather one they were born with and were good at. They were nonchalant about their magic, and it made it that much more believable (while still being unbelievable). Charmed perfected the family-of-witches formula that so many shows nowadays can’t quite figure out.

From The CW’s brief try with The Secret Circle to American Horror Story: Coven and Lifetime’s new series Witches of East End, witches are by no means a thing of the past. However, they do seem to be getting more and more extreme, therefore lacking Charmed‘s defined magical universe. That’s not to say that Charmed wasn’t full of crazy story lines, but is it just me, or are witches getting weirder? Personally, being a witch is crazy enough for me. I don’t need much more. And perhaps that’s why I’d much rather watch a re-run of Charmed than any of the new witchy shows. It maintained that balance of real-life and magic, and there was some inexplicably logical element to it all. And did I mention it was fun?

At the end of the day, Charmed cast a spell that I can’t seem to shake, and no new show has provided the antidote (or whatever that is in the witch world). Perhaps the Book of Shadows is the greatest grimoire of all time?

What do you all think, PopWatchers? Are you Team Halliwell?
