Though Rose McGowan is known for her flashy style on the red carpet, the actress wowed in a very traditional white wedding gown when she tied the knot on Saturday in a romantic and ethereal ceremony.

The actress, 40, and artist Davey Detail were married on the lawn of the Paramour Mansion Saturday, her rep confirmed to PEOPLE exclusively. The ceremony was performed by a rabbi outdoors under a chuppah of McGowan's design in front of 60 guests.

McGowan's strapless A-line silk Monique Lhuillier creation featured a corset and Chantilly lace draped with a fine tulle overlay, and the waistline of the dress was accented with a knot detail cascading into the skirt.

She finished her bridal look with a raw edge chapel-length tulle veil and Jimmy Choo shoes and walked down the aisle solo to "The Song to the Siren" by This Mortal Coil.

After the ceremony, guests flowed into the intimate garden of the Paramour Mansion for the dinner reception, where DJ Madison Stewart spun tunes.

Inside the bash – planned by Amber Gustafson – miniature custom terrariums with name tags served as both seating assignments and party favors, and a dinner buffet included Southern comfort food staples such as fried chicken and waffles, ribeye steak and cajun creamed corn.

The table florals dripped with maiden hair fern and amaranthus in vintage brass vases and guests were seated on mismatched dark wood tables and chairs.

A custom cake by Fantasy Frosting that was a replicate of McGowan's parents' wedding cake added a sweet touch. One final surprise at the very end of the night? A bouncy house!

Break out the champagne! Rose McGowan and Davey Detail tied the knot during an intimate outdoor ceremony at the Paramour Mansion in Silverlake on Saturday, Oct. 12, her rep confirms to Us Weekly.

McGowan, 40, wore a strapless white dress by Monique Lhuillier and a veil for her special day, with her hair up in a bun. She also carried a bouquet of pink flowers down the aisle. The couple's vows lasted 15 minutes. A New Orleans swing band then played as guests were escorted to a cocktail area with stunning white lights surrounding a courtyard. They were married by a rabbi outdoors under a chuppah.

The pair exchanged vows in a "romantic and ethereal" ceremony as 60 guests looked on, a source tells PEOPLE.

The Tell-Tale Heart star and Detail first announced their engagement in July after more than a year of dating, with the actress previously telling Us that she thought her artist beau was "magic."

"He's made me a better woman. And I've made him a better man!" she shared with Us at the premiere of Mademoiselle C in NYC on Sept. 6.

The actress was previously twice-engaged -- to Machete Kills director Robert Rodriguez in 2007 and before that, to rocker Marilyn Manson in 1998 -- but this is her first marriage.

Next up? The happy newlyweds are heading to Tahiti for their honeymoon, according to McGowan. "I've never been," she previously told Us. "I've always dreamed of having one of those little huts over the water."

This month marks 15 years since Charmed premiered on what was then The WB. And although it certainly wasn’t the first television show about witches, it was one of the most successful, capturing a fan base that to this day watches re-runs at every opportunity — or is that just me?

Charmed told the story of the Halliwell sisters and their power of three. Basically, when the three of them combined their witchy mojo, they were pretty much unstoppable. With the Book of Shadows in their attic, full of spells and potions, the sisters were able to fight off all kinds of demons. And when they weren’t being attacked (which was rare), they were able to fall in love — sometimes with the wrong people — and have real-life sibling arguments.

Despite swapping the third sister after Prue died, the show succeeded in creating a real family dynamic. The sisters always had chemistry, and you couldn’t help but root for them to stick together and bicker about boys while simultaneously kicking butt. Plus, you knew you were amongst cool witches when they used their free time to open a nightclub.

However, even with the magic element, the show also had a subtlety to it. Sure, it was a fantastical show about witches and demons, etc., but there was a real sense that this wasn’t the life the girls wanted, but rather one they were born with and were good at. They were nonchalant about their magic, and it made it that much more believable (while still being unbelievable). Charmed perfected the family-of-witches formula that so many shows nowadays can’t quite figure out.

From The CW’s brief try with The Secret Circle to American Horror Story: Coven and Lifetime’s new series Witches of East End, witches are by no means a thing of the past. However, they do seem to be getting more and more extreme, therefore lacking Charmed‘s defined magical universe. That’s not to say that Charmed wasn’t full of crazy story lines, but is it just me, or are witches getting weirder? Personally, being a witch is crazy enough for me. I don’t need much more. And perhaps that’s why I’d much rather watch a re-run of Charmed than any of the new witchy shows. It maintained that balance of real-life and magic, and there was some inexplicably logical element to it all. And did I mention it was fun?

At the end of the day, Charmed cast a spell that I can’t seem to shake, and no new show has provided the antidote (or whatever that is in the witch world). Perhaps the Book of Shadows is the greatest grimoire of all time?

"We're getting married October 12th at a mansion," the actress revealed to Us Weekly at the premiere of Mademoiselle C in New York City Friday, Sept. 6. "It used to be a nunnery, so it's perfect for me. As everyone knows, I am a nun!" she joked.

It will also be an intimate ceremony, with just family invited. "I have eight brothers and sisters and a massive family. That takes care of it. That's everybody. That's it." The Charmed actress also admitted that she will be toning down her rocker girl image (she once dated Marilyn Manson) when it comes to the music. "I'm having a New Orleans swing band -- a brass band from New Orleans. I found them on the street."

The same goes for her dress. Unlike her outrageous and very revealing infamous ensemble at the 1998 MTV Video Music Awards, McGowan will be walking down the aisle in an Oscar de la Renta wedding gown.

McGowan and her artist boyfriend of over a year will then travel to Tahiti for their honeymoon. "I've never been. I've always dreamed of having one of those little huts over the water," she admitted.

This will be McGowan's first marriage. "He's magic," she gushes of Detail. "He's made me a better woman. And I've made him a better man!" The Jawbreaker actress has previously been engaged to Manson and Machete Kills director Robert Rodriguez.

Modern Family star Sofia Vergara is the highest paid actress on television for the second year in a row, according to Forbes. Vergara’s ranking is part of their larger Celebrity 100 list. The data is based on earnings made from sitcom/series work, endorsements, and licensing deals from June 2012 to June 2013. The top five highest earning actresses all hail from comedy, drama, and reality shows.

In addition to her starring role on Modern Family, Vergara is the executive producer of upcoming ABC drama Killer Women, has a successful Kmart fashion line, and has endorsement deals with Diet Pepsi, Covergirl, Rooms to Go, Comcast, and and thyroid medicine Synthroid. The Colombian born star earned over $30 million last year alone, making her by far the most successful woman on TV.

The star is, according to Forbes, ‘the reigning queen of celebrity endorsement deals’.

But Vergara doesn’t just top the list, she’s the highest paid actress by a significant margin – the second most-paid TV actresses are $19 million behind her – which might also just be her lucky number, as $19 million is also how much the actress earned as 2012′s top earning female TV star.

Tied for number two are actresses Mariska Hargitay (Law & Order) and Kaley Cuoco (The Big Bang Theory) earning $11 million this year.

There was also a five-way tie for fourth place earnings between Melissa McCarthy (Mike & Molly), The Kardashians, Ellen Pompeo (Grey’s Anatomy), Bethenny Frankel, and Tina Fey, all earning $10 million this year.

Forbes’ list considers reality TV appearances a type of performance – “yes, it’s true, we consider reality TV acting—don’t you?” Forbes' Meghan Casserly writes. McCarthy’s place is lower than expected considering the astronomical high she’s been riding since Bridesmaids with two movies and a Saturday Night Live hosting gig this year. But with the top 20 TV actresses earning a combined total of $183 million in 2013.

Meanwhile, Vergara has a busy promotional schedule ahead of her for the remainder of the year. The fifth season of Modern Family will commence airing on September 25. And she also co-stars with Sharon Stone in Fading Gigolo, which will have a limited release later this year.
