Rose McGowan Will Star in Crackle's Chosen
Rose McGowan plays new character Josie Acosta, a suburban mom and experienced hunter Josie Acosta the third season of Sony-owned Crackle‘s original series Chosen.

“I do like to kill people,” McGowan said of her attraction to the
role — enough to bring her back to series TV. “I specialize in somebody
who doesn’t f*** around,” she said, calling that the overarching curve
of her career.

“These guys have created that kind of role for me. I’ve
shied away from television for a long time.” McGowan said when she got
the script she did not know what Crackle was “because I watch the
classic movie channel.”

But when she saw the series her response was,
“this is bad-ass. What I love is action and smart action, and they don’t
always go hand-in-hand. It’s smart, not just grunting and pointing (a
gun). It’s cerebral — and then I get to kill people. That’s always a win
for me.”
