Some of you might have forgotten or even haven't seen this film yet. But, I think there would never be for you to forget a Pamela Anderson! This bombshell babe was seemed to be newly kick-ass babe since knocked down some men in this film. Now, this action plus sci-fi film didn't perform well in theaters during its releasing. But, let's check the good and the bad about Barb Wire.

Pam Anderson actually looks pretty nice with guns!
Setting place in the future, a wasteland in 2017 with a young, deadly Pamela Anderson as the main character called Barb Wire. Too demanding firstly, because 2017 would be Pam's 50th birthday party! Barb, with her daily nightwear, a tight-black corset, a black leather gloves, black stockings, black high-heeled boots, and a dog collar? Well, that's her figure. A story about the American's second civil war which left one last free city, Steel Harbor, where Barb gets a life by owning a night club, Hammerhead, and by taking her second job as a bounty hunter. Then, suddenly, a former lover of her asks for a favor and.... Need I say, it's a post-apocalyptic remake of Casablanca which slightly contains pornography.

She would kill anyone who called her 'babe' and she did it!
This late 90s film actually looks pretty great in first appearance. But, it seems that the story will slowly turn people's mood down by watching it up to 30 minutes. Starting with Pam's blatant strip dance for over 5 minutes splashed with some water without getting cold then goes for the first heroic in "Batman-style" action, the story begins and so on. This film should have been a fun ride, specially with Pamela Anderson as an big, ultimate heroine. But, over an hour, this film doesn't show much of its all best. And Pam as the bad-ass one, couldn't make this film as a fun, full action-packed, or even dramatic. Pam could have been more expressive. Some people might not have given any care about the inexpressive Pam Anderson, at least they still had good time with Pam's acting so bombshell.

The almost legendary shooting scene!
Seemingly, this is a bad film. But hey, I still like Pam's piercing yet sexy anger stare. Also, I love how she plays with those guns and kicks some butts! That annoying-look latex seems to be a pleasant for Pam to get some action. Now, I see the effort of making such a 2017. Yet, it was just a 1996. And seems that some casts look so 1996's craps without getting a better performance to at least putting up this film. Everyone look so just like that plain, no up or down. I could deal no more about thinking the good or bad of this film, probably most of them are those bad things about this film. Not much could light me up and change my mind about how horrible this film is. The last action scene in the air seems no tension had been showed. What the hell happened to Barb during this scene, she looks so lame and weak! She could deal with two armed-guys, but she couldn't even finish A guy that only armed with bullshits?! Oh Barb, you must have been drunk! Like the wise brother of Barb Wire said not to drink too much, and bad luck would approach the Barb. Nevertheless, Pam portrayed the cold, hot Barb Wire pretty charming, just a little bit too cold.

As a conclusion, Barb Wire is packed with some crap and some art, but the art seems to be a vague as the crap reign it.
